Do I have to stay home all day to wait for the technician?

We know your time is valuable, so our three-hour arrival windows let you plan accordingly. On top of short scheduling windows, we give you a call when he is on his way. Which means if you want to take care of your plumbing issue on your lunch break and you work within 20 minutes of your home, that won't be a problem. If you give the dispatcher your email address when you schedule your appointment, an email with a picture of your technician will be sent to you automatically when your plumber is en route.

What is your warranty policy?

Universal Plumbing & Sewer stands by our work. We have a 100% satisfaction guarantee at the time of service and a 1-year labor warranty on plumbing services.  The type of work that was done will affect the type of warranty offered. Drains have a 30-day warranty if they are opened on the initial call and the technician didn't exclude your drains due to crushed or back pitched pipe. It is our goal to ensure that you have a great customer service experience worthy of sharing with your friends, so we always stand by our work.

What do you charge by the hour?

We charge by the job, not the hour. Universal Plumbing & Sewer, Inc. takes pride in our upfront pricing policy. We believe in giving our customers dignity by giving them the entire cost upfront. Nothing is worse than thinking you are spending a certain amount and having that amount suddenly, unexpectedly change. Our goal is to relieve as much stress for the homeowner and the technicians as possible, so communication is key. Flat rate pricing is made possible by our fully stocked trucks. Having stocked trucks keeps us from running for parts, milking the clock and wasting your time.

What types of payment options do you offer?

For your convenience we accept all major forms of payment. Check, cash, and credit card (Visa, MasterCard and Discover). For larger jobs, we can recommend a third party financing company.

Can you notify me when it's time to get my sewer cleaned again?

Yes. For your convenience, we will notify you when it has been a year (or any frequency you prefer) since your last sewer cleaning. Regular sewer maintenance can save a lot of money spent on emergency service calls.

Do you track my manufacture warranty?

Yes. Products purchased and installed through us are automatically entered into the system and all your warranty information will be stored. This keeps you from spending unnecessary money on items still under warranty.

What if my family is having a financial crisis?

If your family is having a financial crisis and you are in need of drain work or are without necessary water systems, we may be able to help. Contact the office and let us know your situation. We are a compassionate company and will do our best to help you out.
